I learned to cook from spending time the kitchen with both my parents and grandparents. Learning the basics and recipes that have been passed down for generations. I always enjoyed watching the cooking channels and experimenting in the kitchen. (Which I still do!)
I can recall countless times I burnt, caught on fire, dropped, accidentally dumped entire containers, forgot items or mixed up really important things like salt & sugar. Needless to say I created dishes that tasted like wallpaper paste. Over time I learned how to make food taste great while putting a healthier spin on a traditional recipe. Cooking really is an art and it takes time and practice to get good at it.
You do not have to be a master chief to make delicious, simple and healthy meals. I can teach you easy ways to make meals with little effort and virtually no clean up.

This insanely delicious take on Chile Relleno with homemade tortillas is the perfect meal. One of my personal favorites! It incorporated cheese stuffed poblano pepper with a rich spiced tomato based sauce with a little kick. Topped with purple cabbage and cotija cheese. It will make you cry its so good!
Dessert Nacho Yes you read that right. Simple cinnamon sugar tortilla chips topped with fruit salsa. The perfect, inexpensive and healthy treat!
Who ever said salad cant be delicious has never had this! A hearty salad filled with nuts, seeds, cheese, apple, dried fruit and onion to name a few. Topped with a scrumptious homemade balsamic.
Glorious Ginger Sunrise A sweet-heat fruit & vegetable smoothie with a kick! Mango, Carrot, Ginger, lemon juice and dates, to list a few ingredients. Perfect way to start off your day.
Bread = Life. There really is a lot more to life than bread but let's be honest it makes it a hell of alot better. This ooie gooie homemade pesto, Mozzarella and tomato melt is a perfect piece of pleasure. Works best with fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden.
DIY Buffalo Chicken pizza Love buffalo chicken pizza but looking for a healthier version? Well you found it. With a homemade wheat crust, oven baked buffalo chicken fingers, topped with cabbage, carrot and spinach slaw. This is a pizza and salad all in one.
Mediterranean Style Gyro Homemade greek yogurt based "tzatziki sauce", with oven roasted chickpeas, quick pickled red onion, and dill. This is the perfect simple dinner. Swap out the chickpeas for a protein of choice! Pronounciation (Tsaht-zee-Kee)
